   This past season really soured me on the whole Big Brother thing, even to the point that unless major changes are made, I will give the next installment a pass. The casting really stunk this time out. Previous seasons gave us people from different demographics, but lately the houseguests have been nothing more than borderline psychopaths in board shorts and bikinis. The show needs a new host as well - as volatile as the house was this season, the best questions Julie Chen could muster was “What is your favorite color?” and “What was your strategy for getting this far?” Give me a break. And make the “America’s Choice” events actually worth voting for, like we get to choose who gets evicted once in a while. All in all, watching this year’s Big Brother was like reading an 800-page suspense novel and finding out at the last page that it was all a dream: a-n-t-i-c-l-i-m-a-c-t-i-c.

   It’s quite so interesting to watch bigbrother.Here in Philippines we have also a reality TV show the PinoyBigBrother.It was so challenging for every housemates in their weekly and daily tasks because of some violent reactions and some crucial charateristis of their housemates.I really appreciate the researcher of this life’s reality show.

   You know, no matter how much we were disspointed with the ending of the show. I do find it interesting that we are still talking about them and the show. It ended over a week ago, yet I find myself looking for information about them still. They are people that we either loved or hated, but at the same time they all kept us interested. I think that I agree I wish we had a more diverse group of people espeically in ages and economics, but again, would we be still talking about them as long as we are talking about this group?

   Reality TV is about watching people we love to hate… much of the time at least… I’ve given up on most reality tv shows and have given in to the fact that the ones I like will get voted out early… especially the good looking girls… Oh well… just a part of the reality tv formula.

   I do agree about Julie Chen and that was funny about her asking “what’s your fvorite color”. I had trouble wityh her at the beginning of the season because I thought she looked and dressed like a drag queen… like Rupaul was under there… Who dresssed her? She had these strong flabby male like arms highlighted and I don’t know about the others out there but Julie Chen isn’t exactly appealing looking. But maybe that’s just me. She is good on the Early Show on CBS, but that is news reporting… not hosting or entertaining… In any event I agree that she is a lame host… makes you really appreciate how good someone like Jeff Probst is at adding to the show instead of simply reading form a bad script.

   We have addictive personalities! That is why we’re still talking about them! That and the incredibly nosy need to see just how hurt some were by the opinions of the viewers!

   Do we NEED to seem them cry? No! But we’d like to think that our strong reaction to the things they did would give them pause to stop and think! Perhaps even change the direction of their lives?

   Unfortuantely most people think it’s fine to be who they are and would consider any call for change to be intrusive. “I am who I am! So live with it!”

   I would have to say that this season alone proved that major changes are needed to improve the standing of this show. But do I think that changes will be made? No! A few weeks before the show ended I emailed AS productions with a few comments about the show, where I thought the show should be moving and I requested to have a discussion with them about what was said. For about a week and a half I got the major run around plaged with arrogence and rudeness only managing to get a few sort “we are extreamly busy with the show right now” or “your email was read and your opinions noted” out of some random shmo who by the way can’t even sign an email even when asked. Finnally I said enough is enough the show was over and I figured I diserved at least a hour of thier time. So I started to get a bit nasty and I must have sent oh at least 50 to 60 (oh lets make it an even 100) sort emails requesting a promt reply. So after a few attempts by the unknowen shmo to get me off thier backs He or she who even they were forwarded my email to the head monkey down there and he explained basically that thier hands are tied and that for some unknown legal reason they can’t take suggestions and basically even if they could I didn’t know what thier plans for next year were (probably just another lame ass casting twist and other midless dribble) and the over all jist was We know everything and that you (and the rest of the viewers) know nothing! Which leads me to believe that we will be subjected a rehash of the past 3 years with the same lame casting, lackluster twists, hours apon hours of fish the fish tank and everyones favortie host the walking talking telepromter Julie Chen.

   Hey Arnold (or some other shmo from your company) just in case you are reading this here is a great idea that does not invove casting twists and would actually be entertaining (Listen I won’t tell if you don’t):
   1. Each week the HoH nominates 3 people. Along with nomination the three chosen ones will be on PB&J for the period of time they are nominated or until they are evicted.
   2. The public would then vote to save one person from eviction
   3. BB would offer a few secret missions through out the season if they fail it is permanent nomination (meaning the HoH would only nominate two people) if they pass they are immune from nomination. These tasks would not be optional if you choose not to comply with instructions it’s your neck on the line.
   4. Make the house 1/4 smaller. play on the aspects of confinment and claustrophobia. Glass windows and glass doors work bette rthan gimmicks like the spy cam.
   5. Harder tasks
   6. a strict and vengful BB if you cross the line it’s your ass on the line
   7. When the finnal three are reached the public will begin to vote for a winner
   8. Live evcition Audience that are not told when to cheer and not to boo! Also as harder questions and don’t be sacred to be a bit confrontational or even rude.

   Keep in mind that BB is not a summer Holiday it is a game and a hard one at that!

   As much as I’d like to see improvements on this show, I think they are stuck and we’d all be better off getting a new better show that utilizes some of the Big Brother aspects.

   I think there is a great opportunity for some other producer to do it better than they do and still be original too.

    Hey I don’t know if a new show is a way to go. I think either a change in production or a change in the show needs to be made. There can only be one big brother we already have simmilar type shows. They just need to step up to the plate, get off thier high and mighty power trip, open thier eyes, and listen. year after year people post thier opinions and sugestions if they took only 1% ideas out thier they could produce a way better show.

    I love all your ideas! Next season they need to give the public more of a say in who gets evicted!! All our favorites got voted out by the nerd herd! Kayser, James, Howie, and Janelle…we all loved them! And we did not get a say in any of them staying. And as a result, 2 people were left that we did not like at all, making the finale, as we’ve all agreed, very anti-climactic! Also, I agree whole-heartedly that they need a new host!! How sick are we all of Julie Chen?? She is so plastic and robotic. Someone new, and upbeat and interesting would be so much better. Thank you.

    It was fun to come home from work everyday and sign on to the chat rooms to see what was up. You can not imagine the outcry as one by one Anericas Favorites were left out in the cold. If CBS is going to bill the show as the “Summer of Secrets”, then they needed to come up with some secrets to make America happy. Like voting for the winner would have been great. People still want to know what is going on with the Sov 6……..I think CBS needs to have a Reunion show to followup with everyone!

    I think we need to petition CBS for new producers beacause no matter what we think or say Arnold and CO won’t listen. I could make a better show with my eyes closed! and I know nothing about TV production.

    America’s Least Favorites… I think it’d be great if every once in a while instead of letting the contestants vote each other off that they did an America’s choice and picked 3 contestants America wants to see axed. Then the houseguests would have to pick from the 3 losers which to evict.
    But first they’d each have to sing Bohemian Rhapsody with Weird Al Yankovich accompanying them!

    That could really help wipe out lame groups like the nerd herbs and help America’s favorites stay in longer (improve ratings???). But I say only 1 or 2 times America’s Least Favorite… later in the season because I do like the way the game works now.

    I think that Jillian Barberie would be a great host for Big Brother or a BB spinoff.

    i am not sure if I like the way the show works any more not after this year. being able to keep your favorites in the game would i fell at least be a great ratings graber and I think it would add a new dimintion to the game. Now a srict public vote would allow favorites a free ride to the end but I would introduce twists and secret missions to ensure we gave some power back to the HG’s and give those people everyone loves to hate a fighting chance. it was suggested on another board to introduce different vetos they would go like this:

    Veto winner makes replacement nominee with a BLACK veto!
    Veto winner can only remove OTHER nominee with YELLOW veto!
    Veto winner removes self AND has immunity the following week with GOLD veto.

    these could be prizes for secret missions or won in competion. never would I want anyone to have a free ride in this game but I do feel we need more input into the game on a regular basis.

    Big Brother 6 and the Summer Of Secrets was a fun summer. Everyone started the game with a secret partner and had too keep it a secret until Julie revealed the twist the 3rd week. I think Maggie shouldn’t have won BB6 she played the game realy stupid. Janelle or Kaysar should of won. If Ashlea never left SEQUESTERED she would of came back and stayed to then end with Janelle. That is my opinion. Kaysar needs to come back for the ALL-STAR edition of BB7. Kaysar,Janelle,Will,Jase,Scott,Diane,Rachel,Eddie,Amy,Josh,Allison,Nathan and Adria and Natalie should be in BB7 ALL-STARS!

    Justin are you on crack! The Summer of Secrets was one of the worst summers yet. There were no exciting twists as promised. The secret partners were a compleat sham they were outed in the first week! even when Julie reveled the Twist it wasn’t as much of a shock as they made it out to be. No ALL STARS next year! or at least not a regular season they should use it as a lead in to the regular season. I am not sure what planet or what BB you were watching but to descibe it as FUN there is something seriously wrong in that statment! you all know my opinions and what they should do hopefully the dirt bags at CBS and Arnold & Co can read and understand why so many of us thought the summer of secrets was a pill of (and I’ll let you fill in that last one). King
